The main purpose is to present twelve (12) religions recognized by Academia from a historical perspective. Doctrinal and denominational issues will not be addressed, as we aim to present material of a historical and academic nature from clearly identified sources.
The course will be delivered online for 10 weeks, with each class session lasting two hours. Additionally, webinars that seek to explore the subject matter deeper will be offered every four (4) weekends for two (2) hours.
Registered participants who cannot attend a session, will be able to access the material 24 hours after delivery.

This course will take us on journey beginning with the oral transmission of fragments, ancient myths and stories that became the nucleus of the Hebrew Scriptures when its codification was first envisaged during the Babylonian exile of the Judean scholars and religious leaders in 6th BCE. This continued until its canon was finalized at some point in 1st CE in response to the emergence of a sect called “The Followers of the Way”. This group morphed into the religion of Christianity.
